Color Key
Description:
Usually less than 3½" snout-vent lenght in Colorado. Color dark, greenish, brown or black, with light stripe down middle of back. Cranial crests usually absent.
Elevation Range:
Ranges from 7000' to over 11,500'.
Subspecies in Colorado:
Bufo boreas boreas.

Identified as an endangered species by the Colorado Division of Wildlife.
